“Thrilled beyond words!” That’s what Darlene and Leonard Yeaman thought of the Old Time Christmas Tour to Branson, Nashville and Pigeon Forge with WestWorld Tours (WWT) in November 2018.

Branson Christmas Lights Tour

Branson, located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, is known as one of the top Christmas destinations in the world and part of that is because of the Branson Christmas Light Tour. “It was a spectacular display of creativity and uniqueness – it’s definitely a must-see,” explained Darlene. “Every single display was fantastic!”

Twinkling lights wouldn’t be complete without festive music. The two-hour dinner cruise on the majestic showboat Branson Belle was also a highlight for the Yeaman’s. The Christmas show blended contemporary and traditional holiday melodies with dance and comedy.

“We absolutely loved the live performances at Branson,” remarked Darlene. “There was so much great entertainment throughout the tour - Yakov Smirnoff, Daniel O’Donnell and Clay Cooper just to name a few.” The Yeaman’s favourite show was the Samson production at the Sight and Sound Theater. “It was phenomenal, with its magnificent costumes and sets - and even live animals!” commented Darlene.

The Yeaman’s love of country music put a little twang in their step as they visited the historic RCA Studio B and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. “Seeing the piano that Elvis Presley played on at RCA Studio B and listening to his music was very enjoyable,” said Darlene. Watching the performances and listening to the music at the Grand Ole Opry was another high point in the tour according to the Yeaman’s.

Elvis Presley's Legendary Pink Cadillac

Two other notable stops were in Memphis and Pigeon Forge. They saw Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley, in Memphis, toured Elvis’ mansion and aircraft and walked

throughout the beautiful, serene gardens. At Pigeon Forge they visited the Appalachian-themed amusement park, Dollywood, where there is a museum of country music singer Dolly Parton’s costumes and memorabilia.

The WestWorld Tours Branson, Nashville and Pigeon Forge tour was the Yeaman’s first booking with WWT as well as their first coach tour. Why did they love the tour so much? “Besides the spectacular sights and sounds, we received excellent hospitality and personalized service,” said Darlene. “We highly recommend WestWorld Tours.”
